Pastor James was saved at the age of 15 after growing up in a Pastor’s home.  By the age of 17 James was called to be in the ministry.  The next step was to acquire an education that would benefit his pursuit in the ministry.  In 1994 James met his wife Tara while attending Southern Nazarene University.  On August 13, 1995 Pastor James and Tara were married here in Pasadena Texas.  Tara graduated from SNU with a B.A. in Psychology in the fall of 1995.  In the spring of 1996 Pastor James earned a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry from Mid America Christian University.  After graduation James and Tara moved to Pasadena to help plant New Life Community Church.  They have lived here since then (with the exception of a one year sabbatical) helping to build this church.  In 2000 James and Tara were blessed with their first child Ashleigh.  She was joined by a little sister, Hannah in 2004.  Today they are leading this church together with a vision to build a great harvest for God!
